Ed Irmen
Ed Irmen is a painter and muralist who says that he is inspired by his frequent moving as an adolescent. This constant change of scenery as well as his inherent interest in wildlife, combine to create his unique, vibrant style. During his education at the College for Creative Studies, he struggled with traditional color theory, which led to his more unorthodox use of color. His pieces never look like other artists. They always look energetic and lively, no matter the traditional color theory. You can find more of Ed’s works on his website, EdIrmen.com, or on several walls around the city of Detroit.
The Vig Arcadia
Born in Metro Detroit, The Vig Arcadia is an electric group of musicians creating Pop, alt-rock, funk, and Blues beats that everyone can dance to.
