Jit Happens
Jit Happens is a dance collective based in Detroit, Michigan. Members consist of Gabby “Queen Gabby” McLeod, Malanio Ross, and Deha Brownleaf. Within the Detroit dance scene, Jit Happens is a force. Members credit their dedication to training, creating content, and adapting Jit as a lifestyle and not just a hobby, as what makes them great. Since Jit Happens emerged as a group in 2019, their goal has been to educate others about the culture and history of Detroit’s signature dance style.

Carole Harris
Carole Harris is a fiber artist from Detroit who combines the artistry of traditional quilting with irregular fabrics, textures, and techniques to create beautifully layered, collaged art. She gains inspiration from architecture, aging structures, and many other things which are evident in her work. In 2015 she received a Kresge Visual Arts Fellowship, and her work has been featured in many museums and galleries nationally and internationally.
Groove Fellowship
Groove fellowship is a Detroit- based progressive- experimental musical group that combines the different elements of R&B, soul, jazz, and funk. Groove fellowship consists of the members drummer Lem Joyner, bass guitarist, and lead vocalist Dan Gamlin, background vocalist Shari Gamlin, guitarist Kevin Jackson, and manager Tonya Thomas.
