"I PAINT IN TWO STYLES, both organic in their own way and each representing my inner psyche as it (rather inartfully) rampages and heals itself throughout the year. For 25 years, I’ve been an activeparticipant in Detroit’s art scene. While my education at Western Michigan University centered around sculpture, I soon found beauty in the surface aesthetics of bronze patination that led me toward painting. It is here where I really discovered the rich parallels in grittiness and character my canvas shared with Detroit."

Crown Royal

It's safe to say that you don't know who you are unless you know where you come from. Crown Royal is the recognition

of the blood line, knowing that they come from royalty. Imported from Detroit and it's toughest parts, Hip Hop artists

P8tience, A-Dot and Recipe Aim have been through it all. Most likely that's why their styles are as profound as they are.

With witty conscious wordplay, polished lyricism and next level songwriting, they are able to convey a pleathora of

reality music, storytelling, struggle and triumph. Individually, they've made their marks as solo artists on several

platforms across the country. Combined, they have worked with artists such as Obie Trice, Gwenation, Black Lagoon, No

Speakerz and have opened stages for artists such as Royce Da 5'9, Jay Electronica, Amp Fiddler and Guilty Simpson.

Influenced by artists such as 2pac, DMX, Outkast, Nas, Jay-Z and Biggie, Crown Royal has formed as a three headed Hip

Hop force that's ready to deliver their honest, gritty and God body message to the world, one record at a time. A

positive cool on the rise!
