Harley Wallen
Harley Wallen is a multi-award winning, Swedish-American writer, actor, and director who has starred in over 40 feature films and TV shows. Best known for his work in Betrayed, Bennett Song, and Moving Parts, Harley has acted alongside of and directed many legendary stars such as John Savage, Tom Sizemore, and Tara Reed. With his first role as dancer on a Swedish TV show at the age of 7, Harley followed his acting dreams from Sweden to the United States where he quickly found success. In 2016, he formed his own Michigan-based film production company ‘Painted Creek Productions’ with his wife Kaiti Wallen. He currently writes, acts, directs, and produces for the company and has won over 46 awards in film festivals all across the world.
Luzhen Qiu
Dave Bennett
Luzhen Qiu is an award-winning Chinese American artist who shares the stories of her culture in her artworks. She was born in Hangzhou, China in 1971 and came to Detroit to pursue a Master’s degree in Fine Arts at Wayne State University in the 1990s. Her art media consists of oil, acyclic, color pencil, and mixed media. With her color pencil on layered mylar works, Qiu makes a dreamscape from her memory by juxtaposing fragments of memories from her childhood, Chinese traditional fabric textiles, and old Chinese legends. Dave Bennett is a Mack Avenue Records artist from Waterford, Michigan. Bennett can be described as a musician that wears multiple hats. From playing Jazz with his clarinet to Rockabilly with a piano and guitar, Bennett covers his bases. With his first album, Dave Bennett Celebrates 100 Years of Benny which was released in 2008, he pays tribute to one of his idols, Benny Goodman. Bennett plays solo as well with multiple bands. He has been a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2013 and has played with 35 orchestras across the states.
