The Sphinx Organization is a Detroit based musical organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts. Sphinx's programs reaches over thousands of students, as well as live and broadcast audiences of over two million. Sphinx works to create a positive change in the arts field and in communities across the country through a variety of programs.

Ballet Renaissance

Brianna Furnish founded Ballet Renaissance in June of 1997, as a means of fostering local talent and inspiring the community. A group of Wayne State University dance majors and dance graduates joined together with Furnish to begin producing performances to inspire. Ballet Renaissance translates literally from French as "dance rebirth," – "to bring rebirth energy to the world, through dance." Ballet Renaissance has performed for children's hospitals, retirement homes, and schools for children with severe physical disabilities, as well as at the Detroit Yacht Club.  In 2011, Ballet Renaissance expanded, and established a second branch in Colorado. Brianna and her ballet partner Radek manage both programs as volunteers, and currently live in Colorado.

Dale Grisa Quintet

Led by keyboard player Dale Grisa, this quintet plays at hip Metro Detroit clubs such as the legendary Cliff Bells and O’Malley’s in Livonia. They perform alone and with local singing artists such as Beth Stalker and Greg C. Brown. They know how to rip it up on the stage!
