Shakespeare in Detroit is a theatrical performance company dedicated to bringing art -- based on The Bard's work -- to the places where people live, work and play in the city. Now in their second performance season, the group just finished a modern production of "Anthony and Cleopatra".
Tom Weschler is a historic Rock & Roll Photographer from the Golden Era. He worked his way from being a roadie for Bob Seger to being a full time photographer for musical acts, documenting artists such as Queen, Van Halen, and Tom Petty just to name a few. He has also published a book in collaboration with award winning music journalist Gary Graff entitled “Travelin’ Man: On the Road and Behind the Scenes with Bob Seger”.
Shahida Nurullahis a jazz singer vocalist whose talent has been praised in the New York Times, Downbeat Magazine, and the Detroit Free Press. She won the starring role of “After Hours: Great Legends! Great Music!” and has performed internationally with band Open On All Sides. Nurullah is also an avid collector of Josephine Baker memorabilia!
